Having received no formal musical education, Damian Marchand considers his voice to be a gift and has been singing professionally for the last four years. He has performed locally with the Sioux Falls Municipal Band, South Dakota Chamber Orchestra, Artfalls, First Night Sioux Falls, and can be heard performing across the region at various concerts, community events and charity benefits. He is most well-known for producing and presenting his own Christmas concert, "A Captivating Christmas". In it's third year, the annual event has received outstanding commendations and features musicians from the SD Symphony, dancers and local guest performers.
In December 2005, Damian released his debut CD of classically-styled Christmas music. His self-titled sophomore release, featuring pop-classical music, is scheduled to be released in early 2008.
When not performing, Damian works as a Computer Programmer/Analyst at Solcom, Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD. He and his wife Donna have two children and are expecting a third baby in February. He and his family attend Abiding Savior Free Lutheran church in Sioux Falls.
